Alicia Armstrong’s body of work encompasses the “inescapable and dichotomous realities of life” including joy and suffering, light and dark, and closeness and distance. Alicia Armstrong has a BFA with a concentration in oil painting from the University of North Carolina. Alicia primarily paints on wood panels using graphite, oil, and charcoal. Her paintings are in many private collections as well as in Asheville’s Lipinsky Auditorium, Asheville’s Bravo Concrete Series, and many galleries in Asheville and the southeast.
