"Dreamers I" by Rob Delamater.
Rob Delamater’s pieces are created using various forms of printmaking, painting, and collage. His most successful pieces combine simplicity and the Japanese concept of “wabi-sabi” (finding beauty in imperfection). His new works often begin with an idea about colors, almost always coming from direct experience with nature. Rob’s stone-inspired pieces started with a drawing he made of falling rocks that he encountered high up in the Andes of Peru – an act of nature had created the perfect composition for him. That fascination has continued throughout his exploration of the Northern Carolina coast. He currently resides in the NOPA neighborhood of San Francisco, where the clash of nature and urban architecture continues to provide inspiration.
